WE MOSTLY THINK of it as a means to let the world know what we had for dinner – but Twitter can be used for good, too.
Nineteen-year-old Torri Biddle was born with an underdeveloped right arm, but never let it get in the way of enjoying her life.
However the Ohio teen’s biggest dream in life was to be able to hug her father with two arms, so her friends started a Twitter campaign, #HandForTorri.
The hashtag got the attention of charity group The Buried Life, which helps people cross off items on their “bucket lists”.
They reached out to to the leading prosthetic limb specialists at the Hanger Clinic – who agreed to fit Torri with a cutting edge bionic hand.
One of the first things she did with her new hand was hug her father – watch that moment here (have a few tissues to hand):
